Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of the store and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The Shop Manager will be responsible for managing staff, driving sales, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store is well-presented and operates efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Create staff schedules and assign duties to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee stock levels, and coordinate reordering.
- Ensure proper merchandising, product display, and store cleanliness. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues professionally.
- Conduct regular stock checks and implement loss prevention measures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage deliveries.
- Prepare sales and operational reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Selection Criteria
- High school diploma or equivalent; a qualification in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience in retail or shop management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
