Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail shop, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong sales performance, and high standards of store presentation. The role includes leading and motivating the shop team, managing inventory and stock control, resolving customer enquiries and issues, and implementing strategies to drive sales and meet business targets.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the Team: Lead, train, and schedule staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Customer Service: Help customers, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Drive Sales: Achieve sales goals, manage inventory, and promote products to boost sales.
- Store Appearance: Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Cash & Admin: Handle cash, monitor budgets, and track sales and inventory.
Selection Criteria
- Have at least three years’ experience in retail and one year experience in leadership
- Are able to motivate a team, delegate work fairly, and contribute as a team player
- Have a relentless commitment to delivering customer service excellence and building strong customer relationships
- Can show knowledge of budgeting, marketing, strategic planning, and vendor relationship management
- Have sound knowledge of technology products and the current retail environment
- Consistently deliver results and have first-class sales skills
- Are highly organized and able to communicate well both verbally and in writing
