Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail shop, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, sales, and store presentation. This role involves managing the shop team, maintaining inventory, handling customer queries, and driving sales performance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the Team: Lead, train, and schedule staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Customer Service: Help customers, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Drive Sales: Achieve sales goals, manage inventory, and promote products to boost sales.
- Store Appearance: Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Cash & Admin: Handle cash, monitor budgets, and track sales and inventory.
Selection Criteria
- Have at least three years’ experience in retail and one year experience in leadership
- Are able to motivate a team, delegate work fairly, and contribute as a team player
- Have a relentless commitment to delivering customer service excellence and building strong customer relationships
- Can show knowledge of budgeting, marketing, strategic planning, and vendor relationship management
- Have sound knowledge of technology products and the current retail environment
- Consistently deliver results and have first-class sales skills
- Are highly organized and able to communicate well both verbally and in writing
