Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Casino Operations Manager to lead and oversee all casino and resort operational activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, engaging, and profitable gaming and hospitality environment while providing strong leadership across multiple departments. This role carries overall accountability for operational performance, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, customer experience, and revenue optimization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level leadership and oversight of casino and resort operations, including gaming floors, front office, housekeeping, recreation, food & beverage, maintenance, and security.
- Ensure all resort and casino facilities are clean, safe, fully operational, and compliant with regulatory and company standards.
- Oversee casino floor operations, including table games, electronic gaming machines, cash handling, surveillance coordination, and internal controls.
- Ensure full compliance with gaming regulations, licensing requirements, financial controls, and reporting obligations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and handle high-level customer complaints, VIP issues, and escalations professionally and effectively.
- Work closely with marketing and VIP services to attract, retain, and grow the player base.
- Analyze gaming revenue reports and operational data to drive profitability and improve performance.
- Lead budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting for casino and resort operations.
- Maximize revenue through gaming floor efficiency, promotions, room yield management, and food & beverage upselling.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate department managers and supervisors across casino and hospitality operations.
- Conduct management meetings, staff briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Foster a strong organizational culture focused on customer service excellence, accountability, compliance, and teamwork.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, gaming, and hospitality regulations.
- Work with HR and security to manage risk, enforce company policies, and investigate incidents or breaches.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits, licensing renewals, and government inspections.
- Collaborate with marketing, events, and guest services to design and execute promotions, tournaments, and special events.
- Use guest feedback, industry trends, and performance insights to continuously enhance the customer experience.
- Identify growth opportunities and support senior leadership in strategic planning and long-term business development.
Selection Criteria
- Minimum of 5 years’ senior operations management experience within a casino, resort, or large hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of casino operations, gaming regulations, hospitality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership experience managing large, multi-department teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Gaming Management, or a related field is preferred.
