Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operations: Manage front office, housekeeping, F&B, recreation, and maintenance; ensure smooth daily function.
- Guest Experience: Implement strategies for satisfaction, handle escalations, and ensure exceptional service.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate staff; foster has a positive work environment.
- Financial Management: Develop budgets, control expenses, track performance, and manage vendor relationships.
- Marketing & Sales: Coordinate promotions, events, and strategic planning to boost business.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, health, and legal regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare reports for owners/stakeholders and oversee strategic growth.
Selection Criteria
- The candidate must have formal training or a qualification in hospitality, hotel management, or business.
- The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in a hotel or resort.
- The candidate must have previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
- The candidate must be able to manage daily resort operations effectively.
- The candidate should have strong leadership skills and be able to manage staff teams.
- The candidate must be able to recruit, train, and supervise employees.
- The candidate should have good customer service skills and handle guest complaints professionally.
- The candidate must have basic financial knowledge, including budgeting and cost control.
- The candidate should be able to manage suppliers, stock, and purchasing.
- The candidate must understand health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- The candidate should comply with local labour laws and workplace regulations.
- The candidate must have good communication skills in English.
- The candidate should be organized, responsible, and able to solve problems.
- The candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends and public holidays.
- Experience working in a resort or island environment is an advantage.
