Title: Bakery Operation Manager

Job Description:
Oversees the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring smooth production, high-quality products, and exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring health and safety standards, and driving sales.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead, train, and schedule bakery staff for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Product Quality: Ensure all baked goods meet high-quality standards and are consistently fresh.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering, storage, and control of ingredients and bakery supplies.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service and address any customer complaints or concerns.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the bakery complies with food safety regulations and maintains a clean, organized environment.
- Sales & Marketing: Create and implement strategies to drive sales, including seasonal promotions and special offerings.
- Cost Control: Monitor bakery costs, such as food waste, labor, and ingredients, to ensure profitability.
Selection Criteria
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a bakery or food production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams, resolve issues, and deliver results under pressure.
- Proficiency in inventory systems, POS, and basic computer applications (MS Office).
- Certificate in Food Safety, HACCP, or related training (required or willing to obtain).
