Title: Logistics Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to plans, directs, and coordinates the storage, transportation, and distribution of goods, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery from suppliers to customers, involving inventory management, carrier negotiation, team leadership, budget oversight, and problem-solving across the entire supply chain.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee the entire flow of goods, from raw materials to final delivery, liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
- Inventory & Warehousing: Manage stock levels, warehouse operations, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Transportation Management: Schedule and track shipments, select carriers, and negotiate shipping rates.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage logistics teams, including warehouse staff and drivers, setting performance expectations.
- Budget & Strategy: Develop and manage logistics budgets, implement strategies to improve efficiency, and report to senior management.
- Problem Solving: Address disruptions, analyze root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
Selection Criteria
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or Supervisor in retail (2+ years)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Experience with sales reporting, inventory control, and merchandising
- Good understanding of retail KPIs
- Proficiency in using POS systems and Microsoft Office
