Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Floor Manager to supervise and coordinate daily floor operations, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff performance on the floor, maintaining service standards, managing shift schedules, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring the store or venue operates efficiently during business hours. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily floor operations to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of customer service.
  • Monitor staff performance during shifts and ensure duties are carried out efficiently and professionally.
  • Implement and enforce floor procedures and service standards to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling, task assignments, and break rotations to ensure adequate floor coverage.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and company policies on the floor.
  • Support training and coaching of floor staff to improve performance and teamwork.
  • Monitor stock levels on the floor and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain availability.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards of the floor area.
  • Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates or issues to management.

Selection Criteria

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2–5 years of experience in a supervisory or floor management role within retail, hospitality, or a related customer-focused environment.
  • Proven ability to supervise staff, coordinate shifts, and maintain high service standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer concerns and operational issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage busy shifts, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and basic stock management procedures.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
