Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef to prepare and cook meals in the kitchen while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily food preparation, ensuring timely service, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and supporting smooth kitchen operations. This role requires strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assist with stock control, food storage, and inventory monitoring.
- Minimize food waste and manage portion control.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Selection Criteria
- Certificate or training in Culinary Arts (preferred but not mandatory).
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service times.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
