Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. In this role, you will supervise accounts clerks, manage financial transactions, maintain accounting records, and ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures. You will also coordinate with management, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial reports while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in the accounting department.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all accounting transactions are properly recorded and documented.
  • Ensure invoices, receipts, payments, and financial documents are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for accounting matters within the department and provide financial updates to management.
  • Supervise and support accounts clerks to ensure daily accounting tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and review financial reports and maintain proper reconciliation of company accounts.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial documentation.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and ensure compliance with company financial procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated with accounting practices, financial regulations, and industry standards to support efficient financial management.

Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or accounts administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with management, staff, clients, and suppliers.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities to manage financial records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and meet financial deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to supervise and support accounts clerks and maintain smooth daily accounting operations.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, company accounting procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation of company accounts.
