Job Description:
Teck Seng Store is a wholesale and retail trading business located in Tebakor Area, Port Vila, Vanuatu. The company is committed to providing quality products, excellent customer service, efficient stock management, and smooth daily business operations. We are looking forward to working with a experience worker to supervise and manage the daily operations of the store, ensure excellent customer service, maintain stock control, supervise staff, and improve overall business performance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Store operations: Oversee daily wholesale and retail store operations to ensure smooth and efficient business activities.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise store employees, assign duties, monitor attendance, and maintain staff discipline and productivity.
- Customer Services: Ensure high-quality customer service and handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, organize stock displays, conduct stock checks, and prevent stock shortages or losses.
- Purchasing & Receiving: Coordinate with suppliers regarding product ordering, receiving, and stock replenishment.
- Sales Monitoring: Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
- Cash Handling: Supervise cash transactions, daily sales reconciliation, and proper handling of company funds.
- Store Presentation: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and products are displayed properly at all times.
- Compliance: Ensure business operations comply with company policies and Vanuatu labour and business regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare operational reports, stock reports, and sales summaries for management review.
- Security and Safety: Ensure workplace safety, monitor store security, and minimize losses or damages.
- Training: Assist in training and developing local staff members in retail operations and customer service.
How to Apply
Application Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in retail, wholesale, or store management
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, Microsoft Office, inventory systems, and reporting
- Strong leadership, staff management, and problem-solving abilities
