Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing sales, managing staff, and maintaining smooth business operations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to achieve store targets and deliver a positive shopping experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day shop operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high service standards.
- Ensure the shop is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory control.
- Oversee cash handling, daily sales reports, and banking procedures.
- Implement promotions, pricing, and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and legal requirements.
- Prepare reports on sales, staff performance, and operational issues.
- Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
Selection Criteria
- Proven experience as a Shop/Retail Manager or Supervisor.
- Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of retail operations, sales, and stock control.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic financial and reporting knowledge.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
