Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing the overall operation of one or multiple retail stores, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales growth, managing store staff, and maintaining efficient store operations to meet company goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage daily retail store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and reduce shrinkage
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to develop action plans for improving sales and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and merchandising standards
- Develop staff schedules and manage payroll in coordination with HR
- Handle administrative tasks such as reporting sales figures, managing budgets, and ordering supplies
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and address customer issues promptly
- Drive visual merchandising and promotional activities to maximize store appeal
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of retail management experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in retail POS systems, Microsoft Office, and inventory management software
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
