Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervising the daily operations of the repair shop
- Coordinating and scheduling repair and maintenance services
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in sewing machines
- Managing a team of technicians and providing them with necessary training
- Inspecting the work of technicians to ensure high-quality service
- Providing customer service, including handling complaints and inquiries
- Maintaining inventory of spare parts and ordering supplies when necessary
- Keeping records of services, sales, and customer transactions
- Ensuring safety and cleanliness of the work environment
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in sewing machine technology
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with sewing machine manufacturers and suppliers
Selection Criteria
- Proven experience as a shop manager, preferably in a sewing machine repair shop
- Knowledge of sewing machine repair and maintenance
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively
- High school diploma; Degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus
- Experience with inventory management software
