Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure all plant and equipment are operated and maintained by the manufacturer’s instructions
- Read drawings, specifications, and equipment manuals to assist with troubleshooting and repair Liaising with the team on work orders and scheduled maintenance
- Communicate with engineers, foreman, and supervisors
- Fault finding and repair of complex circuits and components
- Develop a solid and collaborative working relationship with the team
- Provide knowledge in the maintenance and repair of highly technical equipment, supporting our fleet of cranes, specialist foundation and ground improvement equipment
Selection Criteria
- A confident communicator, both in written and verbal form
- Strong analytics, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Trade qualifications as a Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Hydraulic Mechanic or related trade
- Have a full Australian driving license
- OEM training and experience with Bauer MC, BC, BG and RTG machines
- OEM training and experience with Fudex CFA and Junttan driven machines
- Previous experience working with specialised HF, GI and DWall plant and equipment
- High attention to quality, and health and safety in a work environment.
Working Conditions
- Travel may be required to worksites
- Mainly work in an office environment
- Extra hours may be required when nearing the completion of a project
- Generally a high-stress and challenging position
- Work schedules tend to vary depending on project needs
