Title: Store Manager

Job Description:
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring a high standard of customer service, managing staff, and driving sales. Your role involves implementing company policies, maintaining store standards, and achieving financial targets while creating a positive shopping environment for our customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operations Management:
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and stocked according to company standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
- Implement strategies to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase satisfaction.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
- Schedule employee shifts and manage timekeeping.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Sales and Financial Management:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve store targets and drive revenue.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports on store metrics.
- Manage store budget, including controlling expenses and maximizing profitability.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and security protocols.
- Marketing and Promotions:
- Coordinate in-store promotions and marketing activities to boost sales.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with company guidelines.
- Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve operational issues, including equipment malfunctions and supply chain disruptions.
- Implement corrective actions to improve store performance and efficiency.
Selection Criteria
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team or experience with inventory management and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Retail management certification or relevant training is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays and ability to stand for extended periods
- Work in a retail environment with exposure to various weather conditions and potential for high foot traffic.
